Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park Fishbowl

Homosassa Springs Fishbowl

Homosassa Springs Fishbowl

At Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park there is an underwater observatory called the Fishbowl that was built in 1963. It was slid into position using banana peels for lubrication, since oil or grease would harm the wildlife in the spring. The variety of fresh and saltwater fish in this natural aquarium is amazing!  And if you are lucky, you’ll even see a manatee swimming by!
