Last week we visited Santa Fe, New Mexico.  This high mountain city has buildings predominantly made of adobe bricks (a mixture of earth and straw).  Its unique style is a result of Spanish and Native American influences.  This “City Different” is famous for its art, culture, and ancient traditions.  In 2005 Santa Fe became the first U.S. city designated by UNESCO as a Creative City (one of nine in the world).
