Acorn Weevil Among Ladybugs at Isolated Pocket Beach, McClure’s Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, north of San Francisco, California. At the end of the weevil’s snout is his mouth. Half way along the snout are elbowed side extensions – those are his antennae!
