What a joy to see what pictures are waiting for us when we download them from the automatic wildlife camera!  It’s such a treat every time.  I placed some pumpkins outside for a Fall theme, and the raccoons and turkeys are having a wonderful time out there.  In fact, if you look closely, you’ll notice that the turkeys have been eating the pumpkin on the right!

About Pam
Richard and Pam lived in the San Francisco Bay Area 14 years (1987-1999 and 2008-2011). They lived in Florida 13 years previously, until returning in July 2011 to present. They hope their photography will encourage you to get out and discover nature's beauty in your own backyard, parks, and wild places. Click on any pictures on this blog to see them full size with additional details.

Thanks! It is so much fun, because you never know what you’ll see. I actually saw the neighborhood bobcat run in our yard the other day, but he didn’t walk by the cam.

Love the wildlife cam pictures! In #4, is that a raccoon sitting in the pumpkin? 🙂

    • Pam says:

Yes! That is baby raccoon, just making himself at home. Not much left of that pumpkin tonight – the turkeys have about finished it off. Guess I better buy more!

    How delightful!

    • Pam says:

Aren’t they cute? The raccoon babies are especially adorable. One night when we lived at another house we heard some noise outside – looked out – and the baby raccoons were up on the hammock making it swing back and forth. They love to play!

Cannot help saying, “Those little rascals!” These were cute photographs, so glad you planned on their feasting on them. Otherwise, you might have been dismayed… smiles!
