We always enjoy visiting McKee Gardens in Vero Beach, Florida, over the Christmas holidays.   The decorations are beautiful in December, and the flowers are always blooming!

About Pam
Richard and Pam lived in the San Francisco Bay Area 14 years (1987-1999 and 2008-2011). They lived in Florida 13 years previously, until returning in July 2011 to present. They hope their photography will encourage you to get out and discover nature's beauty in your own backyard, parks, and wild places. I love all the natural wonders with artistic creations playing with nature. Beautiful post, Pam! 🙂

    • Pam says:

Thank you! We were quite surprised and delighted when we got there.

I also like burlap wrapping paper and the bee hive (wasp) combs faded and gray and locust pods. Beautiful example of how we can utilize things we have on our house or yard to decorate and wrap up gifts. 🙂

        • Pam says:

I love the simplicity of it! Actually I have a “museum” in my office full of things like seed pods, shells, and discarded nests. 🙂

  2. Ingrid says:

Wow, very creative and pretty. I’d enjoy a visit there. Happy New Year 🙂

  3. flora says:

love , love the zebra butterfly…so beautiful!

    • Pam says:

Oh I love them too! They are so pretty, and I love how they flutter around the garden. Sometimes we have dozens flitting around our flower garden. They seem to especially like the red jatropha flowers.
