Hvalneskirkja Church was built with locally collected lava rock (outside) and salvaged driftwood (inside), in town of Sandgerdi, central west side of Reykjanes Peninsula, near Reykjavik, Iceland. It is close to the Stafnes Lighthouse, and is south of the twin Gardskagaviti lighthouses and Utskalakirkja Church in Gardur.
