Kalfatjarnarkirkja Church is Iceland’s largest rural church (built 1891), in town of Vogar, north Reykjanes Peninsula, near Reykjavik, Iceland. This cute postcard-perfect church has an old whale bone on its lawn overlooking a coastal golf course (in the far distance you can just barely make out the Gerdistangi Lighthouse). Lots of arctic terns fly over the property in June during nesting season.
