We had the BEST surprise on our automatic wildlife camera EVER!!!  A bobcat walked right in front of our Santa outside!  Wow!  I about fell off my chair when I was looking over the pictures from the night before.  Some of our other recent pictures are here too, including Merry Christmas raccoons.  Have a great holiday!

Wow, a bobcat? What party if Florida do you live in? Have you ever seen one during the day? I’d hate to have one sneak up while you’re gardening or relaxing..🙋🐦

Yes, a bobcat! We see him about once every 6 months. He is ultra shy. One peek at a human and he is gone like the wind. Bobcats don’t attack people – never been an instance in Florida anyway. We live in Central Florida on the coast (Palm Bay, which is south of Cocoa Beach and southeast of Orlando). We have seen the bobcat during the day. One time he was sitting under the purple martin gourds looking up at the birds. The birds starting dive bombing him and he ran off. It was quite a sight!
