Vintage 1969 Snoopy NASA Safety Mascot Poster. The Astronaut says: “Snoopy, we are now entering the moon landing phase of Apollo. Our spacecraft are being assembled with delicate sensitive, high cost components, like the SCS, GNCS, EPS, and ELS. These are currently being moved from plants all over the country to Cape Kennedy, Florida, via air freight. Shipments are easy to spot, for each bears this special label. Please handle with extreme care. The lives of my buddies are in your hands.” The label says “Critical Space Item – Handle with Extreme Care”. Snoopy replies, “Good Grief!”
