The glaciers and ice on the south coast of Iceland are stunning! Some of the icebergs are an incredible blue. This area is one of our absolute favorites of anywhere we have ever been! When we flew home, we got super lucky and had a spectacular view of Greenland on the return flight. Gorgeous! We will definitely return – nature photography is the best in Iceland! Beautiful shots, Pam, I’d love to see blue ice some day!
It is so beautiful – hard to describe in words. Maybe “magical”. 🙂
Wow. What a great joy it was to see your stunning photos! Thank you.
Have a good day!
Thank you! It is a very beautiful place!
Great images! Iceland is such a special place.
Agreed! It is the best and a place we long to see again.
What stunning photos, Pam. And your slide show is excellent. Although we’ve been to Reykjavík, we haven’t (yet) been out to see the beauty that you have shown. We had hoped to visit this summer, but now I think we’ll have to push that back. What time of year do you recommend? ~Terri
You need to go back! We like going in mid-June when the lupines are blooming and the puffins are nesting. Ahhhh ….. our chance will come again.
