Reykjanes (Smokey Point) Lighthouse Sits on Hill Overlooking Gunnuhver Geothermal Area
Reykjanes Lighthouse (Iceland’s oldest lighthouse near Reykjavik). Reykjanes means “Smoky Point”. Lighthouse sits on a hill next to the Gunnuhver geothermal area. Reykjanes Peninsula (south side) near Reykjavik, Iceland. Can easily be seen on driving loop including Gardskagaviti lighthouses in Gardur, and the Stafnes Lighthouse further south.
